Whereas the Expatriates of Cotacachi:

1. Are mainly Seniors
2. Are or will be requiring medical attention
3. Are dealing with a system of medical care different from our experience
4. Are mostly not fluent in Spanish
5. Will require help adapting to the medical system of Ecuador

Therefore: Cotacachi Health Network seeks to provide a measure of security for its members based on cooperation, mutual support, and the sharing of resources. When faced with a medical emergency, the goal is to provide the resources to help navigate this new medical system.
